How It Works

The Medical Cannabis Program in New Mexico currently offers 28 qualifying conditions. Medicinal cannabis is administered by the NMDOH pursuant to the Lynn and Erin Act and at the same time manages any criminal law enforcement pertaining to conduct that is deemed illicit by the state. The Qualified Patient (QP) may designate a Primary Caregiver (PC) to manage the QP's well-being in relation to the use of medical cannabis.
